The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented.

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but there is wear to the bottom corner edges. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots throughout. The leather trim throughout the bag has signs of wear and in the top corner edges there is creasing. The shoulder strap has overall wear and the underside has darkened. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. Please note the zipper has become slightly wavy and is no longer straight, therefore making it difficult to open and close. The interior is clean and in good condition with only several faint spots present.
