The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but there is wear to the bottom corner edges. The leather has developed a caramel patina with water spots throughout. The leather trim overall has wear and creasing. The shoulder strap has wear and the underside has faint discoloring from normal use. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in good condition.
