The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. The bag has been well loved and has heavy darkening and wear to the leather trim throughout the bag. The bottom corner edges and upper leather trim in particular show heavy soiling and creasing. The hardware has surface scratches and the plating is fading in some areas. The interior has visible soiling and the bag has a noticeable cigarette odor. Overall the bag is well loved and looking for a loving new home.
