The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful throughout, but there is slight wear in the bottom corner edges, mostly to the leather. The leather has developed a light patina with water spots throughout. The leather trim overall has creasing and wear (please refer to photos). The handles have creasing throughout, as well as darkened and developed a waxy texture from normal wear. The shoulder strap has creasing and light wear overall. The buckle has left a faint marking on the shoulder strap. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and areas of fading, but is still bright. The interior has some spots and there is a faint perfume odor present, but otherwise it is clean and still in good condition.
