The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather has developed a caramel patina with light water spots throughout. The piping on the suitcase has scuffing overall. The top handle has some minor wear and indentations. The retractable handle has darkening to the underside and the plastic at the base has scuffing. The plastic skid pads on the bottom and back of the suitcase have wear. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in great condition.
