The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful throughout. The anti-skid pads have very faint scuffing from gentle use. The leather has developed a light honey patina. The leather handles have some light wear and gentle soiling, but remain in good condition. The retractable top handle has some soiling to the leather. The goldtone hardware is bright and crisp. The interior lining is clean and remains blemish free. Overall this suitcase remains in excellent condition.
