This lovely creation by Louis Vuitton is named after a renowned Paris market. With its unique shape and details such as the petal-shaped leather tabs and golden orb hardware, it is truly one of those endearingly chic pieces that become better with age. Retail price is $1170.
The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful throughout. The leather trim and handles have developed a dark honey patina and the side piping and corners show visible wear. Please note the leather piping at one of the corners has split (refer to image #4). The handles have darkened and have moderate scuffing and water marks through out. They have also softened from use over time. The hardware is bright and clean with surface scratches. The interior lining is clean with light signs of wear and minimal staining.
