The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather trim and handles have turned a dark honey patina. The leather trim at the corners and sides show heavy water spots. The handles have soiling and have darkened from use. The strap shows light creasing and signs of wear. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and the zippers pulls are flaking lightly. The interior leather is clean, however please note the interior lining of the zip pocket is peeling and wearing away. We do not recommend using this pocket. Overall the bag has been well loved and is looking for a loving new home.
