The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful throughout. The leather trim and handle have developed a very light honey patina. The upper leather trim has some creasing and light signs of gentle wear. The handle has some faint water spots, but overall remains in great condition. The hardware is bright and clean with minor hairline surface scratches. The leather piping has some faint rubbing at the corners. The interior lining is clean and remains in excellent condition.
