The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there is slight wear in the bottom corner edges. The front of the bag has several faint transfer marks (please refer to photos). The rear handle has a nick to the glazing. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and fading. The interior lining has light areas of rubbing and overall there is a faint musk odor present, but otherwise it is clean and still in good condition.
