The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there is some minor color transfer to the rear and a black speck at the front and as well as light wear at the corners. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior has some creasing and scuff marks with some light stretching to the card slots, but otherwise it is clean and still in good condition.
