The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but throughout there are transfer marks. The Vernis beneath the flap top has faint impressions. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior lining has scuff marks and underneath the flap top the leather has two small pen marks (please see photo #8 of photo set). Otherwise the interior is clean and still in good condition.
