The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and in great condition, however there is slight creasing overall, as well as light spots throughout. The corner edges each have minor wear (please refer to photos). The front right corner shows a spot where the coating has peeled off (please refer to photos). The leather handles have developed a honey patina and overall there is wear along with water spots. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior lining has some pen marks and smudges, but otherwise is clean with no signs of heavy wear.
