The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior vernis leather is clean, but has small purple transfer mark at the back. The base has light signs of wear. The leather trim and handles have developed a light patina with water spots throughout. The strap and handles have very light signs of wear and minor creasing. The hardware is bright and clean with hairline surface scratches. The interior lining is clean and overall in good condition, but does have faint soiling and a couple of pen marks.
