The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there is very slight creasing overall. Further, the bottom corner edges of the bag show faint scuffing. The base of the bag has several small indentations. The handles have minor creasing to the undersides. The goldtone hardware is bright and crisp with minimal surface scratches. The interior has some fading as well as a faint mothball scent, but overall it is clean and still in good condition.
