The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but the corner edges have wear and there are minor cracks developing on the seams. The shoulder strap has heavy creasing overall, while the underside has darkened heavily, shows soiling, and has developed a waxy texture. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and fading. The interior fabric lining has heavy rubbing and creasing (please refer to photos), the leather lining has scuffing while the card slots have stretching, otherwise the interior is clean with no signs of heavy wear. While this bag has been well-loved, it still has plenty of life in it and is awaiting a new home!
