The original Alma was the creation of Gaston Vuitton, who named it for the Alma Bridge, a span that connects two Parisian neighborhoods. This new model Alma PM features metal feet to protect its smooth leather base, as well as a leather clochette and shiny silvertone hardware. Current retail price is $2120.
The Louis Vuitton Epi Leather collection was first introduced in 1985 and was created to respond to the demand for more durable leather necessary in modern travel conditions. Epi leather is dyed all the way through and has a grainy texture which can withstand any weather condition. It comes in a multitude of colors that keeps us coming back for more.

The exterior Epi leather is clean and in good condition throughout. The bottom corners and smooth leather panel show a few minor scuffs and hairline scratches. The bottom base has light signs of wear. The bottom metal feet have surface scratches and some dulling at the center. The handles have developed a slight sheen and there are some light signs of wear at the base of the front handles. The hardware has minor hairline scratches. The interior shows hairline scratches along the base seams and stretching to the flat pocket.
