This Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Alzer 65 Hardsided Suitcase is the purest tradition of travel. Louis Vuitton's legendary Alzer 65 suitcase features solid reinforced panels, polished brass fittings, and incredible attention to detail. The large S lock closure accepts a unique key and opens with a solid "thunk." Hand-finished brass nail heads and LV embossed leather trim finish the exterior of this exceptional briefcase. It is spacious and sturdy, willing to impress any traveler throughout the world or used as interior decor. Please note this was originally purchased in 2002 for $2680. Current retail price is $8100.

The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather handle and trim are a nice medium honey patina with light soiling and water spots to the handle. The luggage tag is darker but remains an even color and clean. The brass corners and trim have darkened and have hairline surface scratches. The interior is clean and overall in excellent condition.
