The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with only faint scuff marks overall. The base of the bag has some hairline indentations. The metal feet have started to fade. The handles have minor creasing on the underside. The goldtone hardware is crisp with minor surface scratches. The interior has some spots and scratches, but overall is clean and in great condition.
