This lovely Alma GM is simply stunning in deep violet color. Goldtone pieces, padlock, and clochette complete the look. Originally referred to as the MM, this size is now the largest in the Alma family and is the current GM size. This bag includes an receipt stating it was originally purchased in 2008 for $2080. The current retail price for the Alma GM is $3100.
The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but throughout there are scuff marks, especially along the bottom edges. There is a nick in the Vernis at the bottom rear of the bag (please refer to photos). The handles have faint signs of wear. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in good condition, but there is a very slight musk odor present.
