The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior monogram canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather trim and handles are a lovely medium honey patina with some signs of wear on the bottom corner edges. There are watermarks on the trim throughout the bag as well as on the long strap. There is a dark scuff marks on the bottom trim at the base. The handles and luggage tag are slightly darker from normal use. The interior is clean with some faint marks but overall in great condition.
