This elegant square Louis Vuitton Trunk President Classeur Briefcase makes a bold statement for the male or female executive. It's construction is the same as Louis Vuitton's legendary travel pieces with solid reinforced panels, polished brass fittings, and incredible attention to detail. The large S lock closure accepts a unique key and opens with a solid "thunk." A leather ID tag and handles complete the exterior. Hand-finished brass nailheads finish the exterior of this exceptional briefcase. The President is beautiful to look at yet is rugged enough to last a lifetime. The leather lined interior features a large pocket for holding documents. This is the newer version of the President Classeur with the redesigned expanding interior document pocket. Retail price is $4100.
The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.
Notes: This briefcase has been very gently carried. The canvas is pristine with only a very small nick on the bottom edge. The leather handle has turned dark honey patina. The brass hardware has light surface scratches, but still has a brilliant shine. The brown LV edge piping is in very good condition with some very minor wear on the corners. The interior is very clean and without flaws.
