The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colours throughout the years.
The exterior has signs of wear to the Vernis which has started to discolor. There is heavy wear to the bottom corners. The vachetta handles have turned a darker honey patina with wear to the edges and the underside being darker from use. The interior has light wear to the bottom base but is otherwise clean and in good condition.
