The Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolore collection is relatively new and was first introduced in spring 2003. The Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami decided to revamp the traditional monogram toile and give it a splash of colour. He created a new vibrant canvas pallet with 33 silkscreened colours. Together with Marc Jacobs, the Multicolore line became a huge success!
The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather strap and trim have turned a dark patina with signs of wear to the corner edges and water stains and darkening to the trim at the top of the bag and the leather shoulder strap. The leather buckles and luggage tag also show water spots and signs of wear. The coated canvas edges on the front pockets is fading slightly and the goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior lining is very clean and in good condition.
