The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Please note, this Spontini does not include a shoulder strap. The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather handles and strap are a nice light honey patina with minor creasing to the top handles. The interior lining is clean and in excellent and like new condition.
